What a fun place! So glad we went during Christmas time, got surprised with carolers. Food was fantastic, waitress was amazing and had great recommendations
Such a great find in the heart of downtown Springfield Everything was delicious from start to finish. Potato pancakes, goulash, Rüben Sandwich, Schnitzel Sandy . And the grand finale was Apple Strudel with ice cream. Our waitress Stephanie was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. We even got a bit of information on this historical restaurant. We will definitely be back!
Great food. Got chicken schnitzel ceasar salad and german sampler with brat, smoked pork chop and beef goulash. Blonde beer was good too. I gotta come back and try the other foods.
Didn't seem there was much choice in downtown Springfield. Wow...great spot, great vibe and really amazing food! Had the pork chop w/sauerkraut and potatoes. Maybe the best I ever had, and the price was very reasonable. Guys behind the bar were attentive and actually talked during my visit. 3 thumbs up!!!
What a fun spot! A friend recommended this place to me while on a work trip. I happily went for lunch and did the 3 course lunch special! The service and ambiance of this place is bar none! What a great find! First I had the Goulash for a started, it had a wonderful taste to it...so so flavorful!! For my main course I got the Veal Kaiser Schnitzel, as good as it tastes in Germany!! For dessert I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding, was a recommendation from the waitress, I'm so glad I listened to her. It was to die for! I highly recommend this spot! 10/10!! Prost!
